The Tangem Wallet looks like a credit card but contains a secure chip that stores your private keys. To sign a transaction, you open the Tangem app on your phone, confirm the details on screen, and tap the card to the back of your phone. The NFC field powers the card, the chip signs the transaction, and the signed data transfers back to your phone in about two seconds. Your keys never leave the card.

Yes. BitcoinWalletSG is a Tangem authorized reseller, listed on Tangem's official reseller page. Every unit is factory sealed, sourced directly from Tangem, and ships with the original packaging and activation cards. When you first tap a new Tangem card with the Tangem app, the app verifies the card's authenticity against Tangem's servers. A counterfeit card would fail this check immediately.

It depends on which set you chose. The 3-card set ships with one primary and two backups. The 2-card set ships with one primary and one backup. During initial setup, the Tangem app links all cards together. If you lose the primary card, any backup card can restore full access. This is why we recommend the 3-card set: two backups stored in separate locations gives you stronger redundancy for just S$20 more. If all cards are lost, your funds are unrecoverable, just like losing a seed phrase.

Different security model, comparable protection. Wallets with screens let you verify transaction details on the device itself. Tangem uses your phone as the display and relies on the EAL6+ secure chip (one level above most screened wallets) to keep keys isolated. The trade-off: Tangem is simpler and more portable, but you trust your phone to display the correct transaction details. For most users holding standard portfolios, this is a practical and well-tested approach.

Standard SG delivery is the default and arrives within standard courier timelines. For urgent orders, an optional express same-day delivery add-on (S$30) gets your wallet to your door within 4 to 6 hours, on orders placed before 3pm SGT, Monday to Saturday. Walk-in pickup at our Ang Mo Kio location is free during opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00.

Yes, and we recommend it. Place your order online or message us in advance, and we will have your unit reserved at our Ang Mo Kio location. Walk-ins also welcome during opening hours. We accept SGD, USD, RMB, and major cryptocurrencies for in-person pickup. Bring your passport or ID for foreign-currency or crypto payment.

We offer an optional 60-minute setup walkthrough with QH (S$60), available in person at our Ang Mo Kio shop or online via video call. We get your Tangem paired with your phone, backup cards configured, and every question answered. Booking required at least 24 hours in advance.

Tangem offers a 25-year warranty on the card hardware. Sealed-box returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Opened/activated devices are non-returnable for security reasons. This is standard across all hardware wallet retailers, because a previously-activated wallet cannot be guaranteed untampered. Manufacturing defects are covered under Tangem's warranty.
