Exploring Self-Custody with the Trezor One Hardware Wallet and MetaMask

We recently sent Kevin (from turtleinvestor.net) a Trezor One hardware wallet for his honest feedback.

In his article, Kevin discusses his experience with the Trezor One hardware wallet and how he used it in conjunction with MetaMask. Kevin highlights the importance of self-custody, especially in light of the recent collapse of FTX, one of the largest exchanges in the world.

He notes that even though he has never used a hot wallet on his mobile phone, he always uses a desktop computer or laptop and pairs it with a hardware wallet. In this case, he was given the opportunity to try out the Trezor One, a cryptocurrency hardware wallet developed by SatoshiLabs.

Kevin walks through the process of setting up the Trezor One, including firmware installation, creating a new wallet, and connecting the Trezor One to MetaMask.

Overall, he had a positive experience with the Trezor One and recommends it as a secure option for self-custody.
